• The IIE Varsity College, Pietermaritzburg Campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer (Independent Contractor) within the School of Education for second semester in 2023.  
• ICT integration into the Classroom : ICTC6212

Competencies required:

• Understanding of customer service in education
• Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively

Minimum Education Requirements:

• B.Ed. Honours degree or  Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8)

 Or

• BSc/Information Science Honours/related degree

And:

• The undergraduate or postgraduate qualification must include a module on Teaching and Learning/Pedagogy.

And:

•  The undergraduate or postgraduate qualification must feature at least one ICT module.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• Teaching experience is required
• Proficiency with the use of contemporary ICT software and hardware is required (details and levels to be specified on CV)
• Ideally, lecturing experience at tertiary level
• Previous lecturing experience within tertiary environment is advantageous
• Current industry knowledge is essential
