Learning Facilitator (Cape Town) at Sanlam Group

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying training needs on an ongoing basis
• Facilitate remote learning interventions in a blended approach, using available technology and online resources to ensure learning and engagement occur.
• Conduct technical training, as well as soft skills training in a blended approach - a combination of face & remote facilitation, combined with technology
• The incorporation of gamification, e-learning, video’s, etc. to enhance the learning experience
• Assessment of learners during and after learning interventions to ensure competence
• Providing support to learners in a professional, effective and efficient manner
• Continuous feedback to learners and line management about training performance
• Evaluate learning interventions to ensure that the latest methodologies are used and that the interventions meet the needs of operations
• Develop e-learning material using the latest tools and technology available to the team
• Ensure that training material is according to business needs in line with general training practices, together with formative and summative assessments
• Ensure that all training materials are relevant and up to date by revisiting and maintaining materials on an ongoing basis, and in compliance to POPIA legislation
• Administer and maintain training records per SLA’s

Qualification and Experience

• Grade 12 with 4 to 6 years related experience
• Diploma with 4 to 5 years related experience
• 5 year’s experience in the employee benefit/retirement funds and group risk environments is essential
• Technical training experience in a retirement fund/insurance environment will be advantageous
• Completion of the ODETDP qualification will be an advantage
• Completion of a related course (possibly one or two-year diploma) and some previous practical experience.
• Experience in remote facilitation, using technology to enhance blended learning would be advantageous
• Experience in instructional design/technical writing will be advantageous
• Experience in the development of e-learning material will be advantageous
• A Wealth Management qualification will be an advantage
