Junior Programmer - Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth at OVK - Group

Main purpose of the position

• The development and maintenance IT software, databases and systems of the OVK Group’

Minimum requirements

• Completed tertiary qualification in IT software develop (B-Degree / N.Dip) and / or similar experience in IT software development;
• SQL and IT database qualification, knowledge and / or experience.

Skills

• Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
• Exceptional computer literacy;
• Strong numerical ability;
• Strong organisational skills;
• Must be able to work under pressure;
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality;
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
• Excellent people skills and the ability to function in a team.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of IT software and systems;
• The analysis of system and transactional databases and data for reporting purposes;
• Delivery of IT related services to management and the OVK Group;
• Relevant administrative responsibilities.
