Junior Developer - Northern Suburbs (Cape) at MWEB

Main Purpose of the Job:

• Assist with the development of Website 2023, the redesign of Mweb’s online sales journey. It is a 6 months Fixed Term Contract. 

Job Output:

• Implement new frontend functionality.
• Investigate the cause of bugs and implement fixes.
• Provide feedback to the design team and business on the appropriate way in which to implement functionality. This may include changes to the original design 

Skills and Competencies:

• HTML5
• CSS3
• React
• JavaScript & Typescript
• SQL & REST API
• Git Source Control
• Ability to work with a team of developers

Requirements
Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology / Computer Science

Experience:

• At least 6 months development using JavaScript or Typescript using a frontend framework like React, Vue or Angular.
• At least 1 year performing software development in a production environment
