Junior Cyber Security Analyst at Core Group

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyse security alerts and incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in remediation.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain security tools and systems
• Support security policy implementation and compliance.
• Contribute to cyber security awareness programs
• Collaborate with various departments ensuring compliance with security requirements through effective communication and task management.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (orequivalent experience).
• Relevant certifications e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+ (or equivalent)

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of network protocols and security tools.
• Familiarity with SIEM systems and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Experience with security platform management.

Soft Skills:

• Persistence and diplomacy in handling interdepartmental collaborations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
