    Junior Assistant Foreman

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Matric certificate
    • Agricultural experience or diploma advantageous
    • Previous vegetable farming/ greenhouse experience advantageous
    • Must be self-disciplined / reliable / hands on / independent / initiative taking / trustworthy
    • Ability to work with and manage staff, teamwork
    • Must be willing to work on weekends & public holidays
    • Maintenance orientated
    • Valid South African drivers license

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    To work under the supervision and guidance of the owner and assist with the daily duties of running the business:

    • Day to day management of vegetable farms – green houses
    • Crop management / Staff management / Fertilizer & Irrigation control / Pests and diseases control
    • Crop harvesting control / Pack house supervision and assistance
    • Deliveries
    • General farm maintenance and upkeep
    • Storeroom control
