    Your Personality

    • Matric.
    • National Diploma / BSc or B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Physical Metallurgy
    • Good interpersonal / communication skills.
    • Competent in Microsoft Office package.
    • Effective presentation skills.

    Your Opportunity

    • Supports the successful implementation of new projects, engineering and process changes, in agreement with customer, to ensure and improve quality and delivery of products, at lowest cost.
    • Leads respective projects including cost and milestone control.
    • Release of production equipment and processes.
    • Creates performance descriptions for equipment.
    • Collects and analyses process data by coordinating efforts of production and quality for effective problem solving and process optimization.
    • Provides floor support to troubleshoot quality problems using continuous improvement and root cause analysis techniques.
    • Develops, revises and documents manufacturing processes to meet cost, quality, scrap, labour and safety goals.
    • Implements customer product reviews by providing prototypes, tooling and equipment.
    • Enforces and follows safety procedures, being attentive to unsafe behaviours or conditions, and taking necessary corrective actions.
    • Follow P.Prod.021 procedure for actions in case of non-conformance.
    • Compliance with Benteler’s IATF 16949 standards.
    • Quality Intern has the authority to stop the line if quality concerns are raised.
    • Follow any legal and reasonable instruction given by any superior.
    • Implement and ensure compliance with all Safety, Health and Environmental Procedures, Rules and Requirements. Identifying and reporting all Incidents/ Accidents and Unsafe Acts & Conditions.
    • Identify and Improve all Hazards Risks or Aspects and Impacts on the shopfloor as well as implement related controls to mitigate the Risks and Impacts.
