Intern: Data Governance Full-Stack Developer at Sanlam Group

What will you do?
As a DG Full-Stack Developer you will be working across different technologies, namely Informatic IDQ and EDC, Tibco EBX, and Microsoft PowerBI. You will be responsible for technical development, technical integration and configuration, monitoring, user support and handling user access requests.

What will make you successful in this role?
IDQ:

• Create connections between IDQ and Data Sources
• Profile source data 
• Design and execute data quality rules and mappings based on business requirements, including the development of logical data objects (LDO’s)
• Assist in deploying mappings that will run in a scheduled, batch, or real-time environment
• Monitoring results in Microsoft PowerBI
• Managing security and access to DQ Dashboard
• Liaising with technical support teams (dba teams, infrastructure teams, application technical leads)

EDC:

• Setting up configuration and running of scanners
• Monitoring of scanners
• Using the catalog to show lineage

EBX:

• Configuration to integrate EBX with Cloudera
• Supporting Business users to create Reference data in EBX
• Maintaining Business Metadata

Qualification

• Matric
• IT diploma or Computer Science degree
