Hygiene Attendant at Nestle

A day in the life of a Hygiene Attendant:

• Remove waste from the processing area (Tipping / stripping area, LDE, Roller Dryer area, Drymix area, Filling and Packing area) according to the set work instruction to the designated area every morning.
• Empty, clean and maintain all the vacuum cleaners in the processing areas according to the set work instruction.
• Clean and maintain all the cleaning tools in the processing area according to the set work instruction.
• Ensures compliance GMP by conducting inspections on assigned areas.  
• Check the status of the Air Handling Unit (Relative Humidity, Temperature, Differential Pressure) and clean the AHU unit/room as per schedule.                                           
• Supports safety programs by ensuring proper management of cleaning chemical & disposal.               
• Conducts / monitors safety aspects of all machines / equipment within the area of responsibility.          
• Ensure food safety by supporting IPM plan (pest hunts, identifying SOC/HTRP) 
• Participates in TPM Activities                
• Performs other duties assigned from time to time by Team Leader/ Food Safety Specialist.                            
• Clean and maintain the HH Cleaning and MH Cleaning rooms according to the set work instructions.
• Rework management (Collecting in the assigned areas, draining big bags, declaring rework).
• Printing and replacing production documents including archiving old documents.                                              
• Conduct deep cleaning during downtime and monitor 3rd party deep cleaning in your area.

• Matric with Maths & Science
• 1 year experience.
• Understanding basic microbiology.                       
• Understand all safety regulations.
