    HR Engagement Officer

    Job Description

    • Hollywoodbets has an exciting opportunity available for an HR Engagement Officer to be based at our Team Support Office in Umhlanga, Durban. The position will be responsible for the coordination, streamlining and supporting of the entire onboarding, induction and employment initiatives for New Stars. This position will support the HR department on all additional employment projects initiated by HR team such as the YES, in line with the business objective. 

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 2-3 years’ experience as a Generalist HR.
    • Strong administrative background.
       

    Advantageous:

    • Diploma/Degree in HR or Similar Field of Study.
       

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the onboarding process for all new take on’s.
    • Liaise and partner with recruitment, hiring manager to ensure all information is accurate for Induction spreadsheet and other relevant correspondence.
    • Communicate all relevant company and position information to new hires, including work schedules, policies, Moodle trainings etc.
    • Conduct, walkabouts, building and branch tours and know where each dept building is located.
    • Understand the process, ON request for pre- onboarding take on’s, including onboarding kits (e.g. stationary, T-shirts and mugs).
    • Coordinate and implement company induction programs, presentations and videos.
    • Track and report on all planned and completed inductions as well as partner with various depts and team members.
    • Coordinate induction events in line with the Hollywoodbets culture.
    • Guide all Leaders throughout the onboarding and induction process, by tracking all starters and hosting refresher trainings on inductions and the role of all key players.
    • Gather and fill all paperwork related to new hires, including take on checklists, induction checklist and training registers.
    • Ensure all new hires attend job specific induction with relevant stakeholders and dept, including HR processes and procedures.
    • Track and report on all onboarding feedback by analyzing trends and tracking demographics and diversity to support the EE requirements of the business.
    • Ensure all compulsory trainings are completed by the relevant dept heads and leaders. Drive participation and ensure the SF onboarding training is always fit for purpose.
    • Manage employment projects such as YES programs, Learnerships and other relevant HR projects.
    • Provide updates, reports, daily, weekly and monthly on projects status.
    • Support on all post induction admin tasks and coordination.
    • Assist with all new hire login details for Moodle take on.
    • Adhoc duties as required.
