    HR Admin/ Generalist - 6 months maternity contract

    • You have at least 2 years HR generalist experience and have worked in the manufacturing industry. You love people and you are passionate about adding value to a business with not only your experience but your values and compassionate personality.

    What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

    • You’ll be a right-hand support to the busy and dynamic HR Business Partner is amazing at what she does. The HRBP sits on EXCO and is needing a competent and reliable individual to be hands on in the office for her. Overall you’ll be handling HR admin, doing staff consultations, running projects and committees, payroll input, enforcement of company policies etc.
    • This is a multifaceted generalist role and you’ll play a pivotal role in providing consistent and effective HR admin services.
    • You’ll collaborate with hiring managers to support end to end recruitment, conduct job analysis, draft job specs, source candidates and ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding.
    • You’ll work with Managers to assess training and development needs and collaborate with implementing training programs.
    • You’ll manage the submission and tracking of WSP and ATR, co-ordinate training and monitor the training budget.
    • You’ll assist in managing IR, conflict resolution and counselling. You’ll collaborate with company event planning and recreational and sports activities and represent HR at various levels of the organisation.
    • You’ll communicate processes and provide HR consultancy to managers and employees. Accurate reporting for HR data, metrics and analytics will be your responsibility. You’ll also ensure compliance to EE and skills levy refunds and remain up to date on employment laws and HR compliance matters.

    Where you’ll be doing it

    • This is a Monday to Friday role that is in office in Cato Ridge. There is a staff compliment of around 300 employees. We are looking for this person to start in August and the contract will end in January.

    What you’ll need

    • A minimum 2 years HR generalist experience especially having done payroll input, WSP, ATR and EE reporting and submissions. You will need to be able to multitask and cope well in a fast paced environment. You will need to have solid manufacturing industry experience.
    • You’ll need to be proficient in MS Office as well as HR payroll software (they use Sage People) and ideally a time and attendance program as well.
    • You have a “can do” attitude and are action orientated. You have a warm and welcoming personality and can empathise with employees but at the same time you stick to the company rules. We’re looking for someone that can connect easily with people as this is the main function of your role.
    • You love having a variety of tasks and assisting others. You also have excellent communication skills and you deal well with anyone and everyone, especially different cultures and personalities.
    • You will need to have your own car and driver’s license.
