Head - Insurance Claims at City of Cape Town

Requirements

• A relevant Law Degree, preferably LLB and knowledge in the field of Law of Delict.
• ACII / AIISA / FCII / FIISA membership will be advantageous
• Up to eight (8) years of relevant experience
• Good written and communication skills.

Key Performance Areas

• Manage the implementation of the claims strategy plan
• Support line management in safeguarding the financial viability of the fund.
• Monitor the financial requirements of the Claims section
• Oversee and monitor performance of the Claims section to contribute to the achievement of operational and strategic goals.
• Take responsibility as project administrator during the formal tender process to ensure that all SCM policies, procedures, guidelines and legislation are complied with.
• Controlling of Claims staff performance to ensure optimum operational and productivity levels.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with all stakeholders in the working environment.
