GCC Mine Engineer (Gauteng) x 3 required at Hire Resolve

Description

Hire Resolve is looking for 3 Mine Engineers with GCC to join their clients growing operations across South Africa. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing technical support and advice to the mine management team and ensuring the safety and optimal performance of mine operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for projects and operations relating to surveying, planning, drilling, blasting, and production
• Conduct feasibility studies and develop mine plans
• Ensure compliance with mining regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize mine operations and resolve issues
• Contribute to the development and implementation of operational strategies
• Mentor junior staff members and oversee their work
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering
• GCC (Mines and Surface) certificate is mandatory
• 5+ years’ experience as a Mine Engineer, including 2+ years at a supervisory level
• Strong technical knowledge of mining software and tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team
• Sound understanding of mining regulations and safety standards.
