Purpose Statement

• Perform monitoring and compliance functions for Balance of Payment reporting to the Financial Surveillance Department (FinSurv).
• Ensure compliance with international best standards and practices, Exchange Control legislation and FICA

Experience

Min:

•  5 years’ experience as an Excon Specialist with a thorough understanding and working knowledge of the Exchange Control legislation and FinSurv reporting rules including the submission of formal applications to the Reserve Bank.  

Qualification

• Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational
• A relevant Tertiary Qualification (e.g. Treasury Management, International Trade Finance Certificate) would be advantageous

Knowledge
Min knowledge and understanding of :

• Financial payment processes and systems and the interoperability thereof
• Working knowledge of SWIFTGUI, Bancs, CDS, TrustLink, AVAYA would be ideal
