• Company is looking for a Field Technician to join our team. We prefer a candidate in the Boksburg area, own vehicle is essential. This is for a 12-month renewable contract. Basic + Petrol allowance +- 2000 km per month. Must have excellent customer service.

• Hardware & Software Support
• Network support
• Installation: Installing and setting up fiber optic cables, equipment, and related network infrastructure at customer premises and network sites.
• Network Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues connectivity, signal loss, or service disruptions.
• On-Site Support: Providing on-site support to customers and addressing their inquiries, concerns, or service requests.
• Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance activities to ensure the integrity and reliability.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Following safety protocols and guidelines during installations and maintenance to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of yourself and others.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
• Collaboration: Collaborating with other team members, engineers, and customer service representatives to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all installations and repairs meet company quality standards and specifications.
• Customer Interaction: Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour while interacting with customers and addressing their concerns.
• Training: Staying updated with the latest technologies and undergoing training to enhance your technical skills and knowledge.

Minimum Requirements

• Your duties would primarily involve the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic telecommunication systems, hardware, software & Networks.
• A+ & N+ or Microsoft Certificates
• National Diploma (Advantageous)
• 3+ years field Technician experience
• Customer service background
