    External Sales Representative - Aarden Solar JV

    Introduction

    • The External sales representative will be responsible for identifying and pursuing close service key industry clients. The candidate will also visit clients to ensure customer service and standards are maintained. He or She will focus on high volume and C&I markets.

    Job description
    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

    • Prepare accurate quality quotes timeously.
    • Ensure that all sales targets are met
    • Collectively for the sales team to ensure sales targets aligned with annual business plans are achieved.
    • Deal decisively with and report on performance hinderances.
    • Assist sales team to grow customer base through sales to new customers accusations.
    • Assist sales team to retain and grow sales of existing customers.
    • Ensure “right first time” sales conduct to minimize customer comebacks.
    • Conduct day to day activities in a safe manner in order to contribute to the Company’s requirement of zero harm and Stop. Think. Act.24/7.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure that the monthly and yearly sales targets are achieved (Revenue & Margin).
    • Develop own unique customer plan (visit’s, problems, new clients etc.)
    • Develop positive relationships with key industry stakeholders that will contribute to the bottom line of the Company.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for line manager.
    • Liaise with technical support engineer for product training for sales team and for evaluation of potential new products.
    • Customer visits and encouraging customers to utilize the on-line portal and provide “hands-on” assistance and training to customers on an as needed basis.
    • Attend and actively engage with customers at trade shows that the company may participate in from time to time.
    • Keep updated on latest products and advances in technology in the Solar PV industry.

    Minimum requirements
    EXPERIENCE

    • 3 years work experience in sales, preferably in the electrical or solar wholesale industry.
    • Computer Literate.

     
    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Matric.
    • Marketing or Sales Qualification
    • Drivers license.
