    Executive Publications Director

    Responsible to manage the production of the publication by reviewing the prepared material like articles, news, blogs or photographs for publishing. They are also known as executive editor who works to manage day to day tasks related with the production works. The EPD needs to lead and work with the EEIC.

    Roles and responsibilities

    • EPD is responsible to give review and do the necessary editing in the articles or other piece of content written by the authors.
    • Ensure that the written content is not copied and fully original.
    • Make sure that all the facts, dates and other information mentioned in the article are original.
    • Candidate is responsible to make use of software and application tools which is made to recheck the content in terms of grammar correction, plagiarism free.
    • Guide the writers and authors to work according to the running trend.
    • Publish the articles according to the choice of the audience.
    • This is the major responsibility of an Editor-in-chief to ensure that all the work is done according to the rules of the print media.
    • Works to manage the departmental budget.
    • Recruit the new employees by taking their interviews.
    • Responsible for planning new campaigns and events to increase department revenue.
    • Create Content Diaries

    EPD key skills required

    • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
    • Candidate should be able to listen patiently and interact over it effectively.
    • They should be innovative and creative.
    • Expert knowledge of government laws and orders.
    • Ability to work in a stress and take quick decision.
    • Ability to perform good leadership.

    Education, training and Certifications

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Communication, Journalism, public relation or relevant field.
    • Work Experience as an Editor or similar role.
