Digital Designer at Truworths

Job Description

Then now is your chance to apply with Truworths as we have an exciting opportunity that has become available for a Digital Designer to join us at our head office in Cape Town. The role will require the digital designer to produce crafted design and user experiences across various digital touch points, including websites, applications and digital marketing collateral with a focus on emails. UI and usability testing of the work produced will also be conducted by the designer.

Key Responsibilities:

•   UI - Interface design
•   UX - User journeys, research and analysis
•   UI and usability testing of all YDE websites and communication
•   Marketing collateral design with a primary focus on emails

Qualifications and Experience    
Qualification/s:

•   Relevant degree or diploma in graphic design, web/multimedia design or UX/UI design
•   Minimum 3 years relevant experience, including
•  UX and UI projects
•  Graphic design projects

Experience / Knowledge:

•   Keen eye for visual design, image composition, branding, typography and layout
•   Understands and effectively implements UX and UI best practices and processes
•   Implements a mobile first design approach
•   Creative and innovative thinker and problem solver
•   Delivers crafted design and user experiences
•   Good industry knowledge and a technical understanding of web and app builds.
