Dispatch Controller at Novus Holdings Ltd

Key Duties and Responsibilities    

• Receipt of finished goods
• Inspection of finished goods
• Storage of finished goods
• Stock control & accuracy
• Control of retail and Plaslope orders
• Preparation of finished goods for despatch Documentation
• Loading of finished goods onto trucks
• Housekeeping and safety standards
• Control and maintenance of forklifts
• Monitor and control staff efficiency and overtime.

Educational Requirements    

• Matric or equivalent
• Computer certificate (Microsoft Excel, word, and outlook)
• Diploma/Certificate in Logistics or equivalent  

Experience Requirements    

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position with references. 
• At least 3 years’ experience in Despatch processes.
• Knowledge of SYSPRO system an added advantage

Skills and Competencies    

• Ability to allocate transport providers for specific customers
• Attention to detail with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good leadership skills.
• Ability to operate a computer.
• Ability to liaise with transporters and customers.
• Ability to control and motivate Despatch personnel.
