• Designs and documents the integration of the data flow by creating a series of interconnected and bidirectional data pipelines that serve various business needs from source systems to information consumption.

Job Description

Key accountabilities

• Liaise with business users to understand requirements, and  technology teams to establish data availability and specific business rules to be applied to the data.
• Explore and profile data to ensure correct data is delivered and that the rules can be applied.  Document the technical specifications for the data solution engineering team.
• Adhere to data management policies and principles by populating the required data relationships, format and lineage in the appropriate tools
• Ensure technical solutions delivered by Data Engineering meet requirements by performing User Acceptance Testing.
• Obtain business sign-off and assist with exploration of data to resolve data quality discrepancies.  Report unresolved issues in the data quality issue log.
• Perform data integration between different sources and specify survival rules as and when required.
• Explore, analyse, and profile data from various internal and external data sources, and assist data scientist in preparing data for analytical purposes

• Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Manufacturing, Engineering and Technology
