Creditors Clerk - Germiston at Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd

 Purpose of the job:

• To capture orders, invoices along with the compilation of the creditors reconciliation for payment by the central payment department.

Responsibilities:

• To capture orders accurately and timeously.
• To process invoices in the correct financial period.
• Reconcile to supplier’s statement and pay to agreed terms.
• Processing of monthly Accruals.
• Resolving queries through written or telephonic communication
• Maintenance of Accounts Payable Reports.
• Standardisation and optimisation of accounting structures and reporting.
• Implementation and maintenance of financial controls.
• Cost analysis and control.
• Business performance measurement and improvement.
• Implementation and adherence to International accounting practices.
• Safeguarding of all company financial documentation.

Qualification Requirements    

• Matric with Accountancy
• Bookkeeping or Accounting Certificate an advantage

Experience Requirements    

• 3-5 Years’ Accounts Payable experience in FMCG or financial environment.
• Competent in Ms Office e.g. Excel and Word
• Financial Systems e.g. Great Plains
