Corporate Actions Support at Investec

Description of the role 

  Securities Corporate Actions

•  Setup of Corporate events and management of life cycle, covering both MIFID and non MIFID jurisdictions
•  Corporate Action processing, including stock splits, spin-offs, capital increases, final redemptions
•  Allocation of income events (dividends/coupons) 
•  Private equity life cycle and capital account statement accounting
•  Proxy voting and SRD II regulatory responses
•  Setup and maintenance of securities master data 
•  Resolving of team day to day queries from within the group and external counterparties
•  End of day controls

General

•  General administration tasks and liaising with counterparties and other departments within IBSAG
•  System upgrade and regression testing, with emphasis on cross departmental coordination
•  Provision of support to auditors and audit process (E&Y, Internal Audits, Tax Audits)
