    Client Liaison: Shareholder Liaison Services

    What will you do?

    Under limited supervision, provides key support for functional groups, including performance of a wide variety of specialised clerical functions involving compiling and arranging data, making computations, laying out and preparing reports, processing and coding documents and maintaining specialised and comprehensive records and filing. Sets up and prepares statistical reports. Resolves discrepancies and may communicate with a variety of administrative and professional employees within and outside the company.

    • Effective and efficient annual general meeting (AGM) & communication projects support
    • Effective Shareholder administration
    • Effective and efficient transfer secretary and other Liaison
    • Management reporting support
    • Continuous Legislative and companies act amendments e.g. (Financial Intelligence Centre Act) FICA, PoPI, Div Tax
    • Corporate action/s i.e. Cash Equity events (dividend payment)
    • Corporate communications to shareholders i.e. financial results and notice of AGM
    • External events: Tax season, Sassa applications for pension/disabilities
    • Shareholder perceptions on financial market events
    • Shareholders & general public
    • Internal stakeholders: Ombudsman; Client relations, web & social media platforms; Management
    • External stakeholders: 3rd party service providers & other (Sassa, Master, SARS)

    Qualification And Experience

    • Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics, English & Afrikaans or relevant qualification
    • A minimum 5 years client services experience
    • Shareholder and demutualisation processes
    • Treating customers fairly (TCF), FICA, PoPI policy experience
    • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook); Sanlam systems: Jistel, SAP, content manager; policy services environment background Shareholder and Demutualisation background will be a recommendation

    Knowledge And Skills

    • Processing transactions and conduct simple calculations (where applicable)
    • Record keeping, filing and maintenance of databases
    • Maintain work standards and quality verification
    • Collating information for reporting
    • Transfer of knowledge on leading practice and processes
