    Claims Procurement Team Leader

    Key Purpose

    • Develop new and innovative strategies to improve the loss ratio in the building and contents claims environment. Source, establish and maintain new partnerships in order to support the strategic procurement.

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

    • Accurate and timeous reporting of relevant management information to all stakeholders which would include procurement management, claims and suppliers
    • Assist Head of Procurement in developing procurement policies, procedures, processes
    • Build strategic, professional and ethical relationships with internal clients and suppliers
    • Continuous improvement of training methods and performance measurement systems
    • Ensure procurement function’s compliance with company policies, procedures and IT standards, focusing on standardization of processes
    • Process mapping & improvement
    • Key account management
    • Non-motor procurement auditing

    Education and Experience

    Minimum

    • Matric (Essential)         
    • Degree (Advantageous)
    • 2-3 years experience in building insurance environment
