    Chief People Officer

    Job Context

    • Are you a visionary leader with a passion for cultivating an exceptional organizational culture and empowering a diverse and talented workforce? If so, Servest has an exciting opportunity for you as our Chief People Officer (CPO). As the CPO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s human resources strategy, driving employee engagement, and fostering a people-centric environment where every team member can thrive.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Behavioural Science or HR degree or equivalent is a definite requirement for the position.
    • Proven experience as a Chief People Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, Group HR executive or similar leadership role in human resources across multiple divisions and or businesses.
    • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a HR Management capacity including at least 10 years in a senior HR executive position, leading a large organisation, and managing of staff.
    • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and industry trends.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all levels of the organization.
    • Experience in fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with the executive team to drive organizational effectiveness and growth through talent management and employee development.
    • Champion a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes employee engagement, innovation, and collaboration.
    • Design and implement programs that recognize and reward employee contributions and achievements.
    • Oversee the talent acquisition process, ensuring a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
    • Implement retention strategies to attract and retain top talent, promoting a strong employer brand.
    • Design and execute learning and development programs that enhance employee skills and foster career growth.
    • Identify opportunities for employee training and upskilling to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
    • Establish and maintain effective employee relations programs, addressing workplace issues and conflicts promptly and professionally.
    • Implement performance management systems to ensure clear expectations and development plans for all employees.
    • Develop competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain top talent.
    • Conduct regular market analyses to ensure the company remains competitive in the job market.
    • Lead efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization, including development, implementation and oversight of BBBEE strategy.
    • Create initiatives that foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture where every employee feels valued and respected.
    • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and company policies.
