    Business Software Support Assistant

    Job Description    
    Operating within Mazars South Africa’s Quality and Risk Management department, overseeing various software programs used by the Assurance, Non-Assurance and other departments. The role includes, but is not limited to:

    • Application support and implementation
    • Troubleshooting and problem solving
    • End-user support and training/upskill

    The successful candidate's main objective will be to offer the Assurance and Accounting services departments with:

    • 1st and 2nd line software assistance using CaseWare Working papers
    • Implement and support the roll out of the Mazars global audit software – ATLAS NextGen
    • Implementation of approved Business software from Mazars Group, including software/tools identified locally.
    • Exploring new ideas and technological solutions identified by the Innovation team to improve current corporate controls and procedures

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Provide audit and accounting personnel with 1st & 2nd level
    • CaseWare/Atlas support, resolving CaseWare/Atlas incidents reported by users and escalation and follow up on unresolved incidents with CaseWare Africa.
    • Gathering resources or information to assist in resolving frequent problems
    • User provisioning and software license management;
    • Training and coaching for end users
    • Liaison with suppliers/software vendors for software licensing inquiries and requirements;
    • Provide support for ongoing projects and new projects the QRM
    • Software team will be responsible for.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 12 certification and A+/N+/MCTS certification or equivalent thereof
    • Comfortable using common Office 365 applications such as, Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
    • Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems and Windows servers
    • Good understanding of basic scripting in CMD/PowerShell
    • Good writing and spoken communication for the compilation of application documentation, instructions and training materials
    • Possess a proactive mentality/mindset
    • Offering excellent customer service with attention to detail and quality of work
    • Team player with ability to cope under pressure or setbacks
    • Effective scheduling, strategic planning and time management
