Business Associate at Cipla

Job Purpose

• Project management in the office of the CEO:
• Support Head of Strategy and Special project in developing strategies and initatives
• Development of analytics on internal and external scenarios of concern to the business:
• Lead executive communications particularly from the Office of the CEO to internal and external forums including the preparation of presentations and speeches.
• Critical cross-functional Head Office point of contact for integration of bolt-on acquisition businesses with full oversight of supply chain, process flows and ways of working.
• Identification and enablement of continuous improvement in the business
• Promotion of systematic and once-off innovations in business and operating models

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and implement processes and systems for effective and efficient governance of the business across functions, in order to ensure smooth operations & achievement of results
• Evaluate business performance independently by participating in Weekly Operational Committee Meetings and driving Monthly governance sessions in order to achieve consistent operational performance
• Critical agent for integration and changes in business projects and acquisition integrations (particularly in the ‘bolt-on’ acquisition category). Work actively in cross functional interventions for the realization of acquisition economics
• Enhance the CEO’s presence through high quality communications to internal and external forums.
• Compile and track objectives on business strategy to achieve growth and profitability targets as aligned with the CEO’s overall Cipla strategy. Cultivate a broad knowledge base on global, OneAfrica and South African business conditions.
• Track and lead key Strategic Projects across region/ functions in line with the overall Cipla SAGA strategy and revenue aspirations of the organization

Education Qualification

• Minimum- post graduate qualification from tertiary academic institution.
• Primary import given to skills in project management, research, analytics and communication.
• Preferable for experience or qualifications in data science, science, information systems, business intelligence, financial and business fields.
• Previous demonstration of leadership skills essential.
