Job Description

• To control and organise the mixing of brine and assisting injector operators to remove dirty needles from injectors.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 Equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience as a brine mixer.
• A willingness to work overtime, shifts and weekends when required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Mixing brine in 15-minutes cycle.
• Transfer brine to injectors.
• Cleaning of injector filter/s in absence of operators.
• Assist operators to remove dirty needles from injectors and with installation during start up.
• Assisting with installation of conveyers in the plant on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to avoid damage to needles.
• Maintain equipment, PPE and work areas in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
• Adhere to and apply ISO/ HACCP/ Occupational Health and Safety and 20 Keys.
• Attending all training given or arranged by the company.
• Perform any other duties as may be required by management.
