Job Description    

• Mazars International Services is recruiting for accounting technical managers with demonstrated experience in an IFRS technical role. This newly established division of Mazars is focussed on fast tracking growth in our primary markets by integrating local talent with our international teams. The incumbent’s duties will include providing accounting advisory services to external customers and audit technical support to our global audit teams. The incumbent will work in collaboration with our local offices in South Africa and our offices in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
• Our clients include corporate multinationals and well-established financial services entities. Being a brand ambassador for Mazars and building solid client relationships will be a key aspect of this role. These roles are fully remote and available to candidates from South Africa and Zimbabwe. Duties and Responsibilities    

• Perform technical reviews of IFRS financial statements
• Provide advisory services to external customers
• Provide audit support to our local and global audit teams
• Produce and / or update guidance documents, tools and standard interpretations
• Research new developments and updates within the technical field
• Develop and/or review training material and/or provide training (internal and external)
• Communicate relevant technical information to Partners, staff and external parties
• Share knowledge and expertise with the internal and external technical groups

Minimum Requirements    

• Qualified CA(SA), CA(Z) or ACCA
• 1 - 2 years’ post articles experience in an IFRS role.
• Advisory and audit support experience is essential.
• Ability to work remotely including the necessary equipment and a stable internet connection
• A thorough knowledge of IFRSs and ISAs
• Proficiency in MS Office with good working knowledge of Excel and audit software
• Big four and international experience advantageous
