Au pair | Senderwood | at Au Pair Extraordinaire

Duties: 

• Stimulating child play - arts and crafts, physical activity, learning play, outdoor activities-materials, guides, support provided. Dedicated OT activities as directed, Dedicated speech therapy exercises daily, Transport to swimming lessons (summer only-term 1 & 3) Monday & Wednesday- bath immediately once home following swim, Transport to speech therapy Wednesdays, Transport to doctor appointments if required. Administering medications under instruction if sick. Preparation and provision of snacks. Occasional family meal prep. Assisting with acquisition of materials and supplies for school dress up, crafts, etc.

Special Requirements:

•  Female, ideally 24 -28 years, experience with age group, first aid, child care, child educational will be considered favourably but not necessary, Car ideally with iso-fix,
• No cigarette smoking or vaping, Responsibly, reliable, honest, soft-natured, caring, conservative.

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
