Artisan Assistant at Sappi

As an Artisan Assistant you will be responsible for:

• Assisting Artisans as and when required.
• Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance schedules to required standards.
• Assisting with modifying of existing plant as well as breakdowns.
• Maintaining a high level of housekeeping.  
• Carrying out other work as allocated by the Mechanical Foreman.
• Adhering to all Engineering and Safety standards.

What are we looking for?

• Matric plus Full Engineering N2 Certificate (all 4 subjects completed)
• Boilermaking Theory as a subject will be an advantage.
• Valid driver’s licence is an advantage.
• One year experience within an Engineering or manufacturing environment.
