Agronomist - Agrisol, Western Cape Area (Overberg/ Swellendam) at VKB Group

Job Description

• The successful candidate will be responsible to fulfill the Agronomic role for Agrisol within the Western Cape region.

Requirement

• Agric Degree (Soil Science, Plant Nutrition, Horticulture, Plant Physiology, Agronomy or a combination of these relevant fields).
• 4-5 year’s proven experience in a similar role.
• A valid drivers’ license.
• Fully bilingual.
• Registration with SACNASP will be beneficial.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Western Cape region with the objective to reach or exceed targets and goals for the specific geographical area.
• Assist clients with yearly seasonal planning, recommendations after soil sampling and corrections.
• Act as the client’s trusted advisor with sound expertise and 100% service delivery.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with different role players.
• Good understanding of GIS related work and experience with Arc GIS or similar software.
• Willing to travel in designated area.
