    Actuarial Manager | Actuarial and Insurance Solutions (General Insurance)

    Main Purpose of Job:

    • Our Actuarial General Insurance team is looking for a Manager to support the Leadership Team in the delivery of services to / at client premises on delegated engagement / project.  There will be a strong focus on developing and providing IFRS17 based solutions for our clients.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications      

    • Fellow Member of the Actuarial Society of South Africa or equivalent

    Minimum Experience           

    • Minimum 3 years working experience
    • Significant experience in General Insurance
    • Experience in IFRS17 will be advantageous
    • Strong analytical and modelling capabilities
    • Pricing experience/knowledge will be an advantage
    • At least 3+ years of General Insurance including capital modelling and management, reserving and reinsurance is ideal
    • Specific experience of IFRS17, SAM (Solvency II) & General Insurance risk management will count strongly
