Academic Navigator (Lecturer): Experience Design Technology (Part-Time) at IIE MSA and IIE Varsity College

Job Purpose:

• Lecture based on provided content, ensure students are guided and supported in their learning.
• Mark student submissions and engage with campus teaching and learning.

Key Performance Areas:

• Prepare for lectures based on provided content.
• Supplement content with own expertise.
• Deliver assigned modules to the stated outcomes and contracted hours.
• Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Support student academic success by implementing workshops where needed.  
• Perform academic admin, such as capturing assessment marks and reporting on student success.
• Provide content feedback.
• Engage with professional development opportunities and attend initial training sessions.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Ideally:

• Honours Degree / Masters in a design field, such as Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or Digital Design with advanced Premier Pro, Audition
• After Effects skills Undergraduate degrees in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design or Digital Design in conjunction with a professional portfolio will be considered

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• ​​Minimum 2 years work experience and portfolio in Adobe Creative Cloud Software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects with experience in video and audio editing, and motion graphics
