Rem: R1,200,000.00 ctc p/a - R1,450,000.00 CTC P/A plus annual performance bonus
Responsiblities:
- Manage all aspects of the risk function, including implementation of processes, tools and systems to identify, assess, measure, manage, monitor and report risks
- Identify and assess material, individual, aggregate and emerging risks
- Assist in the developnment and management of processes to identify and eveluate risks in the business
- Develop risk policies and procedures and manage the process of setting and obtaining approval of risk limits
- Ensure that the operations of the Bank comply with relevant legislation and regulations
- Monitor major and critical risk issues and excalate where necessary
- Manage the internal control self-assessment process
- Maintain the risk register and manage the process of updating it
- Conduct compliance and risk assessments
- Compile, assess and report risk information to the Risk Committee and Executive Committee, in accordance with organisational and regulatory requirements
- Participate in the implementation of IFRS9
- Interact with the regulator on risk issues when required
- Manage the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process
- Manage the Risk Management team
Experience required:
- At least seven years' experience of which three must have been in a senior management position in a risk management function in a Bank
- Proven ability in overseeing a number of risk types, including market, liquidity and operational risks
- At least two years' experience in managing a team
Qualification requirements:
- Relevant Bachelor's degree
- Relevant post-graduate degree would be advantageous
