Salvage Yard Coordinator at Glencore

Job description

The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to the following:

• Ensuring the accuracy, completeness and validity of all goods and materials received in the salvage yard.
• Ensuring all documents are saved for selling purposes and redundant items are removed from the salvage yard for auction.
• Physical stock counting.
• Supervising, developing, planning, organising and allocating duties to subordinates.
• Complying with emergency preparedness, safety requirements, PTO's (Planned Task Observations) and reporting all incidents.
• Maintaining good housekeeping in area of responsibility
