My client, a vibrant start-up online sales company is searching for a PR and Social Media Manager. The ideal candidate will have advertising agency experience, be open minded, versatile and know what it means to work above and beyond the traditional 9 – 5.

As the PR and Social Media Manager, you will maximize brand visibility and its connection with the desired target audience. You will build, develop and optimise the Marketing strategy of the company and create interactive social programs that generate and build users engagement while driving sales through social media and networking.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define the PR strategy and liaise with media to pitch and present products, stories and events
• Provide expert knowledge of social platforms, as well as insights about current and upcoming Social Media trends
• Create, execute, and monitor Social Media campaigns
• Report about channel and campaigns performances
• Maintain all social networking activity in line with the Company’s brand objectives
• Maintain clear intent and strategic direction for each Social Media campaign, in order to drive sales and build brand awareness

REQUIREMENTS

• Work experience within an advertising agency environment is non-negotiable
• 2 years within the PR industry with existing media contacts
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Solid understanding of Social Media best practices and trends
• Strong communicator, forward and creative thinker
