    Turbine Part Repair Manufacturing Planner (255570)

    Job description

    What are the Responsibilities of this position?

    • Regularly analyses order plans, critical timelines from sales operation and double-checks respective resources, and available stocks of materials, parts and components
    • Executes load balancing calculations, and cooperates with other plants for respectively optimized plans.
    • Contributes to the design and planning of monthly or weekly production program.
    • Calculates and deploys short-term and mid-term production plans for assigned production resources.
    • Interacts with sales administration, logistics and vendors, and calculates optimized delivery sequences, to maximize machine utilization.
    • Calculates material flow, set-up times, repair and maintenance schedules and machine utilization.
    • Files and maintains planning documentation in IT systems.
    • Communicates to manufacturing management and staff.
    • Ensures that production plans are properly installed and executed.


    Specific Functional Description

    Technical/project management experience in the manufacturing & repair of turbo-generator components

      • Production/manufacturing/project planning, estimating and scheduling.
      • Production/manufacturing/project planning controlling, reporting, tracking and completion.
      • Setting up and managing a system for production/manufacturing/project key performance indicators and criteria for measurement such as due date performance, whilst at the same time being responsible for due date delivery.
      • Leading and driving daily production/manufacturing/project meetings to achieve desired delivery objectives.
      • Key interface between Sales, Workshop & Sub-suppliers

    What do I need to qualify for the position?

    • National Diploma Engineering Mechanical
    • 2-5 years technical/project management experience in the manufacturing & repair of turbo-generator components
    • Production planning, estimating and scheduling knowledge is mandatory
    • Knowledge of Production planning systems, in specific SAP & Visual, is mandatory

    Project Management Experience Essential

    • MS office including MS projects
