My client, whose head office is based on the city side of Paarden Eiland, Cape Town, invites the right engineers into a young, vibrant and expanding lighting solutions company, where you can pave yourself a rewarding technical sales career path.
Due to expansion we have a number of sales vacancies available for the right energetic individuals where sales comes as second nature and the passion and competitive drive to achieve aggressive and challenging sales targets is a given.
As a “hunter” your main purpose will be to identify and establish new business opportunities for our lighting products/services, whilst you simultaneously nurture and promote additional business within our existing customer base. Translate projects into the engineering and/or production teams, ensuring that they are accurately briefed, and that projects are properly scoped, monitored and managed right through to final installation.
An Electrical/Industrial Degree in addition to 5-8 years engineering experience for our Senior Technical Sales - Account Manager necessitates, whilst 2-5 years’ experience for our Technical Sales - Account Manager is required. A solid 2 years’ experience in a technical sales environment with ‘solutions selling” will be a definite advantage.Computer literate on Excel, you can generate complex technical spreadsheets and are adept to translating your knowledge to written explanations. As an excellent communicator, you possess strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to unpack complex issues and make them easily understood.
Finally your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple simultaneous projects at any given time will be met with a competitive cost-to-company package together with exceptional commissions within this growing national dynamo of a company.
