Job description
A great Fixed Term Contract opportunity exists in our Public Relations department for an Assistant Corporate Social Investment Manager to support the CSI Manager in managing and implementing corporate social investment projects for the Shoprite Group in order to maintain and build on-going relationships with the communities where the Group trades.
You'll be part of a world-class team, in a fast-paced environment and would need to have good knowledge of financial and budget principles and experience with payment processing, managing budgets, contracts and agreements.
The ideal candidate must have 3-5 year's Social investment and /or community development experience. You will need to be competent and able to work with compliance benefits, B-BBEE Scorecard, Tax exemptions, CSI initiatives aligned to strategy to generate positive PR for the business and collaboration experience with a wide range of stakeholders, including business units, executive leadership and not-for-profit partners.
Qualifications
3 Year Degree or Diploma in Development Studies, Economics, Public Relations or similar is required
