Job Summary
Trimble Positioning services delivers real-time GNSS position correction services to the Agriculture, Survey, Construction and Mapping and GIS markets. The Technical Support representative provides prompt telephone assistance to our business partners, resellers and end users when it comes to issues related to our products and services. Success in this position involves the timely resolution of these issues focused on maintaining and improving customer and dealer satisfaction. The Technical Support Representative reports directly to the Trimble Advanced Positioning Customer Care Manager EMEA & CIS.

This position also resolves some sales and service support issues. Measures Of Success
- Provide fast and efficient telephone support to business partners, dealers and end users
- Facilitate the ordering and provisioning process, delivering our services to the end user
- At times, provide technical sales assistance and training to business partners, dealers and end-users
- Support service upgrades and soliciting customer feedback through outbound calling
- Assist in the development of dealer and end-user support technical documentation
- Maintain accurate and concise records in CRM and/or other record tracking database
- Provide the same support for other geographic regions during peak times
- Work effectively as part of a team, contributing as needed to overall team work requirements
- Maintain a deep working knowledge of offerred products and services
- Ensure the safe keeping of all company owned assets
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the business and customer experience by identifying opportunities and taking corrective actions as appropriate
- Provide feedback on competitive products and activities
- Maintain a professional company image at all times
- Other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of differential GNSS technology, products and solutions
- Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action

- Fluent in English and Afrikaans languages
- Proficiency in any other language (German, French, Portuguese or Spanish) preferred
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering(Electronics) required, University Degree in Electrical Engineering(Electronics) or Geomatics preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Tele-sales/Tele-support
- Experience with Microsoft Office required.
- After hours work (extended hours and weekends) needed during peak periods
- Some travel could be required
