    Business Financial Planner

    Job description

    Purpose

    As a Business Financial Planner, you will be responsible for providing appropriate risk and investment advice for Clients, adhering to FAIS Compliance requirements, within the FNB Premium Advisory Sales and Product mandates and targets

    Responsibilities

    In this role you will be required to:

    • Achieve key performance indicators for the business
    • Deliver exceptional Financial Advice to FNB Customers that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
    • Manage existing and proposed new clients of business portfolios and identify specific needs and goals in respect of financial advice
    • Identify new business opportunities that impact on the industry and record and forward these leads to the appropriate product house to ensure cross sell opportunities and to strengthen client relationships
    • Build and sustain collaborative working relationships with relevant peers and stakeholders in order to achieve productivity synergies
    • Achieve previously determined sales targets across the business by identifying opportunities
    • Assist clients in formulating proposals by using the correct tools
    • Check all progress on a daily basis to ensure new business applications are closed within appropriate timelines
    • Ensure adherence to relevant processes and compliance to legislative and audit requirements

    Requirements

    • Minimum: Necessary regulatory requirements: RE, NQF5 or Diploma in Financial Planning
    • FAIS accreditation complete (no longer under supervision)
    • CFP preferred
    • 2 to 3 years’ experience in sales, investments and/or risk acumen with exposure to business clients.
