DC Manager (Inbound and Outbound Operations) at TFG (The Foschini Group)

Job description

The Foschini Group (TFG) is looking to hire a DC Manager to join our Midrand Distribution Centre to manage the Inbound and Outbound processes. This role reports to the Senior DC Manager in Midrand.

As one of South Africa’s leading independent retailers, TFG operates 22 retail brands and various corporate service divisions. TFG has built the business through innovative differentiation, new business development, acquisition and expansion, and is dedicated to the development and implementation of world-class systems and infrastructure.

This role is a key part of the Midrand Distribution Centre, which is a highly customer focused environment. This means that you will be working closely with @homelivingspace merchandise teams and stores. You will also need to analyse and identify supply chain efficiencies for continuous improvement in a world class furniture distribution network.

• Identifying and reporting on key metrics

Requirements

• Tertiary Logistics or business qualification
• A natural aptitude for the management of systems and business processes
• A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle high pressure, stress and multi-tasking
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent customer services skills
• High attention to detail
• High business acumen and the ability to analyse and interpret financial and productivity data
• High energy and motivation
• Able to influencing at various levels to achieve results
• Working knowledge of MS Office, with a strong MS Excel capability
• Proven experience within a management role
• Proven leadership experience
