In an aim to develop the most appropriate strategy, structure and way forward for distribution and S&OP for Animal Feed business unit with primary focus to achieve superior customer service and optimise transport costs.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years in various areas of the supply chain.
- Proven track record managing a supply chain excellence team. Relevant Degree (University level preferably)/ Industrial engineering degree.
- MBA degree from reputable university (advantageous) Operations research qualification (advantageous)'
- A minimum of 5 years’ senior management and or complex project management and the execution of multiple related projects simultaneously Valid Code EB drivers' license.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work in conjunction with the Business Unit Director to formulate supply chain, distribution and S&OP strategies.
- Execute and implement the national supply chain strategy, based on a 5 year view of requirements. Project Coordination.
- Collaborate with the finance team and various functional managers to ensure project budgets are properly estimated and controlled; provide overall financial recommendations and develop controls and measurements to monitor progress.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities in both business and technical plans; identify risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans for all identified risks.
- Team Coordination and Self-Management.
