This is a 12 month contract at a client in Sandton.
Skills Required:
- Extensive knowledge of PowerDesigner (data architect and data movement models)
- Extensive experience (+5 years) in data modeling (Physical, logial and conceptual data modeling)
- Experience developing and running data modeling services, management of data modeling repository, including scripting to fast track modeling processes
- Experience in doing configuration and basic administration SAP PowerDesigner
- Experience in Data Analysis

- Understanding of Data Management frameworks (Zachman, DAMA-DMBOK, TOGAF)
- Understanding of Data Modeling processes and roles
- Understanding of Relational Data Bases
- Understanding of Real-time Platforms
- Understanding of agile solution building / support
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Programming background a plus
- Organised, structured and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team or alone
- Ability to work in a high-pressured environment
- Adaptable (ability to quickly learn new technologies as required)
- Deliverables:
- Attend to project demands for data modeling and data mapping for data management and analytical solutions
- Assistance and providing of support with data modeling exercises
- Monitoring and governance of data modeling repository
- Assistance with basic admin requests on SAP PowerDesigner products (add users, configuration of security and roles)
