Manager Quality Assurance at BroadReach

Job description

You will:

• Be responsible for the end to end ownership of our QA function, including setting the technical vision for developing test frameworks and automation for our Vantage SaaS platform
• Create test plans, write test cases, perform functional and exploratory testing, effectively communicate status and required remediation
• Be a champion of quality and operational excellence: establish team metrics for measurement of quality and operational excellence and a consistent, regular process for assessment and improvements
• Build a comprehensive suite of reusable and automated test cases to provide acceptable test coverage for our applications
• Work closely with the software development and client delivery teams, ensuring that end to end quality is delivered
• Establish process, tools and quality matrix to ensure the functionality, performance and stability
• Provide a strong point of view in go/no-go decisions on launching new releases
• Participate in risk assessment and management of new products and processes
• Inspire, manage and develop team members.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant discipline

Experience & skills

• Minimum 8 years technical experience in a lead role, as well as a proven track record as a Quality Assurance Lead/Manager
• Experience in SQA methodology and tools, including programmatic-level testing and user-level automation
• Demonstrable experience in delivering exceptional customer focus
• Knowledge and experience in QA best practices, techniques, and tools
• Experience in agile software development methodologies
• Experience in UI testing
• Hands-on automation experience with proficiency in one or more languages
• Strong people management skills, with a proven ability to hire and grow talented quality focused engineers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of working effectively with Development and Product teams
• Strong automation skills and expertise in writing automated test scripts from scratch with complex logic
• Strong data and analytics management skills
