POSITION SYNOPSIS:

The purpose of the role is building, integrating, operating and maintaining of all corporate-wide applications (e.g. ERP) and centralized business and operational applications.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Serious contenders will have a Grade 12 and a relevant SAP Certification together with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in applications implementation and/or support;

• National Diploma / Degree IT will be advantageous;

• Experience in the implementation, maintenance and support of large-scale is essential;

•  Experience in integrated IT systems across multiple hardware and software platforms is essential;

• Expertise in ERP application support in one or more of the following - PM, GTS, Oniqua is essential.

• Experience in the mining industry is advantageous.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Support the maintenance of existing ERP applications to agreed service levels including

            break fix resolution, call management, data cleansing, etc;

• Support the maintenance of application interfaces between ERP applications including monitoring and remediation of failed transactions;

• Support end-users of ERP applications, resolving incidents and service requests in a timely manner;

• Analyse ERP solution options, review trade-offs with business representatives, and prepare recommendations;

• Conduct installations and release management tasks including the preparation of production acceptance reviews.
