Purpose   

An exciting opportunity exists for a driven individual who can provide administrative and operational assistance conducive to the execution of Private Labels. This will be accomplished by supporting the Shoprite Checkers Private Label team on packaging projects across different retail brands, covering specified departments including, FMCG, General Merchandise, Liquor and Pharmaceutical products.

Qualifications   
Essential:

• Relevant tertiary degree or diploma

Experience

Desirable:

• Marketing experience (0-1 year)

Knowledge

• Marketing principles and practices

Job objectives   

• To support the driving of key Private Label objectives, which may include:
• Effective project management by trafficking and managing approval process for all packaging artwork with key stakeholders
• Coordinating daily packaging operations and ensuring accurate product briefing; maintaining job bags; sourcing product and packaging samples and managing stakeholder approvals.
• Evaluating and maintaining quality by following packaging artwork process
• Building healthy and sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
