Primary Purpose of the Role
- Provide commercial, financial and analytical input into high value, complex deals.
- Enhance existing systems, tools and models to improve price quality, accuracy and process efficiency. Build cross functional relationships across verticals and lines of business

- Ensure deal pricing is relevant and competitive
- Support the NVAS billing and rebate process Customers
- Build cross functional relationships with Key Stakeholders
- Ensure high quality deliverables to customer
- Meet customer timelines
- Work closely with product houses, key account managers and solution architects to understand customer needs Operational
- Deal Pricing
- Support Solution Architects and Business units to prepare a consolidated deal price
- Deliver accurate and complete consolidated deal pricing
- Understand customer risk/ uncertainty and price accordingly
- Document all financial pricing assumptions used
- Review commercial terms and financial assumptions for inclusion in deal documentation
- Ensure input pricing and commercial terms are competitive
- Follow internal governance, compliance and regulatory policies
- Prepare sign-off pack for internal approval per Delegation of Authority rules
- Check that deal pricing is applied consistently from proposal to final contract Tools and Models
- Integrate Telkom | BCX models (short term)
- Support the maintenance of integrated pricing tools
- Update relevant pricing models to evolve with market changes
- Setup models to allow for rapid turnaround during deal negotiations
- Assist in the development of a Deal Register of new and contract renewals
- Participate in creating product and service catalogues Projects
- Support the team with ad-hoc projects to innovate, improve, streamline and standardize People
- Continuously access human resource requirements to establish and maintain an effective and efficient business unit
- Adequate on-the-job training, coaching, support and counselling is provided to team members as and when required
- Performance is assessed and continuously monitored, and individual development plans are agreed upon and implemented to address performance gaps
- Effectively motivate the team towards continuous improvement and achievement of benchmark standards
