    HR Practitioner - Malelane

    Job Description

    RCL FOODS is on the hunt for an HR Practitioner to join our Foods Division. This role will be based in Mpumalanga, Malelane, and report to the HR Business Partner. The successful incumbent will need to have the drive, energy, and technical ability to efficiently manage and influence a fast-paced environment that spans across the country. This individual must have strong knowledge of HR principles and practices with the ability to practice judgment, forward-thinking, and strategy to solve problems and develop transformational HR initiatives quickly.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or other relevant qualification
    • Valid Driver’s License & willing to travel
    • Minimum of 3- 5 years of HR Generalist Experience
    • Sound knowledge of HR practices and principles
    • Sound knowledge of Labour Legislation.
    • CCMA experience (including the arbitration process) would be advantageous
    • SAP experience would be advantageous
    • Intermediate excel experience
    • Strong interpersonal, negotiating, and conflict-resolution skills
    • Must be able to plan ahead and manage time
    • Must be proactive and deadline driven

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Advise line management on effective Human Resource Management.
    • Provide employee relations advice to line managers regarding disciplinary cases and grievance processes.
    • Review practices to ensure statutory compliance and regularly provide guidance to line managers.
    • Participate in consultations with organized labor.
    • Build strong social partnerships with the recognized unions and their officials.
    • Coordinate the Recruitment Processes in line with Company policy.
    • Analyze the skills and qualities required for each particular job and develop job profiles.
    • Coordinate planned and unplanned OD initiatives.
    • Coordinate the performance appraisal process.
    • Partner with the Learning team to optimize learning opportunities in the business
    • Help build a high-performance culture in the business
    • Ensure statutory compliance with EE Act, BCEA, LRA, SDA, and OHS Act
    • Drive RCL EE policy and targets
    • Coordinate and record EE quarterly meetings.
    • Drive the succession planning for the site/region and support the Talent & Organisational Review process.
    • Ensure organizational structures are kept up to date.
    • Coordinate terminations and exit interviews. 
    • Ensure the accurate capturing of HR information and data into SAP and assure the integrity of the data.
    • Effectively and timeously resolve employee queries.
    • Provide monthly HR Reports to assist line managers with decision-making.

    Stores Supervisor

    We at RCL FOODS are in search for a Stores Supervisorto join our Customer team. These role will be based in Boksburg and report to the Outlet Controller.

    Purpose

    • To ensure the optimal functioning of the store and excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Issue and receipt of stock and refrigerated / chiller stock management and rotation. Managing Cashiers and General Workers of the stores.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Qualification
    • Grade 12
    • Diploma/Degree would be an advantage.
    • At least 3 years’ experience in a stores environment.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Issue and receipt of stock and refrigerated / chiller stock management and rotation.
    • Stores Administration
    • Order Stock for the store, based of Rate of Sale
    • Ensure correct and timely capturing received stock on the POS system.
    • Provide a full report on daily cash ups, weekly banking and monthly Stock Takes.
    • Responsible for all loose assets under his/her control.
    • Manage of shop assistant
    • Be cross functional within the shop, Assisting of customers if necessary
    • Able to work flexible hours of work including weekends, with time off in lieu of overtime.
    • Correct pricing of store products
    • Manage stock by
    • Actively reviewing stock levels to prevent stock outs.
    • Conduct regular spot checks and ensure that system and actual stock level balance.
    • Manage slow moving stock to prevent excess stock.
    • Ensure that stock levels are within the min/max limits.
    • The Stock recommendation must be signed on a daily basis by the WS and the orders must be placed timeously.
    • Ensure that no stock is booked out of the relevant store without the correct authority.
    • Stock reconciliation and materials handling
    • Ensure ISO / HACCP compliance by
    • Ensure that housekeeping is done properly.
    • All Material Safety Data Sheets Must be maintained according to HACCP/ISO standards
    • Ensure HACCP/ISO compliance.

    Knowledge and Skill

    • Willingness to work weekends and overtime, with hours as per operational requirements.
    • Able to work in a team
    • Good communication and Leadership  skills
    • Accurate and with a high attention to detail
    • Customer service oriented
    • Stock control experience will be highly advantageous

    Supply Chain Analyst

    Job Description

Our Talent Team is looking for a proactive & efficient Supply Chain Analyst with great adaptable skills to join our Baking Division.

    The role will report into the Customer Service Excellence Manager and will be based in Pretoria.

    This position exists to provide business intelligence and analytics to feed into key decision making. processes and planning, relevant to CSE. Provide analysis and research inputs into network and supply chain initiatives, business and solutions development and general operations. Extract maximum value from the information technology, coordinating and delivering on selected projects and project tasks.

    Minimum Requirements

    • A relevant Bachelors Degree in Advanced Mathematics/Statistics Qualification (University level) / Industrial Engineering Degree is preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ working experience in a Supply Chain Environment, preferably with Transport, Network, Warehouse Modelling experience.
    • Cost management experience would be advantageous.
    • Advanced computer literacy (MS Office and especially proficiency in Excel).
    • Simulating scenarios (using Excel modelling).
    • Advanced report writing and presentations.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Project Coordination:

    • Coordinating projects as delegated by CSE Manager.
    • Stakeholder engagement and project delivery accountability.
    • Provide CSE status updates and flag any timeline risks.
    • Closing off project by providing a benefit tracker to the CSE Manager.

    Network Analysis:

    • Provide support in identifying future long-term requirements of the network, including analysing transport nodes.
    • Calculating the cost of maintaining and operating the current network.
    • Analysing how cost is affected by different scenarios where facilities are closed, expanded, contracted or new facilities are acquired or constructed.
    • Analysing network nodes and flow-paths.
    • Participate in modelling the long term and medium-term scenarios around transportation optimisation (cost to serve model)

    General Information and Data Management:

    For area of responsibility, ensure data integrity for reporting on trend analysis and decision making.

    Ad-hoc Analysis:

    • Provide analytical assistance as required on an ad-hoc basis to the business functionally.
    • Support the review of data emanating from the supply chain and perform integrated analysis to identify cross-functional cause and effect.
    • Give input into models to inform operating strategies, facilitate decision-making, make investment recommendations and identify new business opportunities.

    Self-Coordination:

    • Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning, prioritising and self-development.
    • Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained.
    • Inform relevant parties in the event of tasks or deadlines not met, the potential risks thereof and provide appropriate resolution.
    • Support and drive the business core values.
    • Manage colleagues and clients’ expectations and communicate appropriately.
    • Demonstrate willingness to help others and “go the extra mile” to meet team targets and objectives.
